Bruce Nunnally
The sensing system is typically composed of a magnetic float and a magnetic sensor (such as a reed switch or a Hall effect sensor). When the fluid level within the brake fluid reservoir is reduced to a predetermined level, the magnetic float is brought in close proximity to the magnetic sensor. This causes the magnetic sensor to initiate a signal to warn the vehicle operator (by way of an indicator light on the instrument panel) that the brake fluid level within the brake reservoir is low and service should be pursued. http://www.patentstorm.us/patents/5827962-description.html Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
