avjoanne
Hello, I am new here. Can anyone tell me what "service ccr" light means on my dashboard? I have a 92 Cadillac Fleetwood and NO manual. Help! Avjoanne
Bruce Nunnally
Hi, Welcome to Caddyinfo.com! It means that there is a problem with the electronic suspension system. CCR means command control ride, which is a system which adjusts the firmness of the suspension based on the speed of the Cadillac. So, at low speeds the suspension is in 'soft' mode, and firms up at higher speeds. Cadillac no longer mades replacement electronic struts/shocks for the 1992 model. You can however replace the electronic struts/shocks with what are referred to as 'passive', or non-electronic struts and shocks, then disable the error message. There is more info here: http://www.caddyinfo.com/disableccr.htm and other articles within the how-to info here: http://www.caddyinfo.com/howto.html Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
