rdmsyr
I have a 1997 STS and have searched the forums to no avail, and figured someone here would know. Is the front side strut rod bushings a service item, or do I have to replace the entire control arm? The type of bushing on the car is a flat pancake style that looks like it is either pressed or molded to the strut rod. Thanks For the help
BodybyFisher
I am surprised that you can not find any information on the strut rod bushings I myself have discussed them a lot. Yes they are replaceable, you can replace them with OEM bushings and I also think that you might find them at Energy Suspensions in poly.. I think I got poly at NAPA also See this link for NEW and OLD strut rod bushings photos, see my post #1 and look at the 4th photo http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?sho...rut+rod+bushing Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
