sevilleriden95
I'm assume that my grandmother didn't use the speakers at a loud volume so that the condition of the speakers are in good condition? There are periods of time that while listening to the radio it will go into to some serious static. Now I no its not the distances from the radio tower ect. (In town in Miami, FL) So is it possible its the connection from the attenna to the system? The Attenna looks to be in perfect condition... Is there a way to check the wiring? or attenna? Are you Bose? Is this a radio reception problem or an audio problem? For example, do cassettes/CDs sound normal? The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
1LowDeville
older speakers do dry out if they're in the sun. and if your grandmother babied it they shouldn't be sounding static like - check your wire connectictions to the speaker - infact if you have a speaker laying around rig up some connectors and hook them up to the wire harness of the speakers in the back and see if they do the same - if it is then its your antenna connection or maybe even a inturnal problem with your radio . GreenMachine
I'd start where warren says, does it do with CD/Cassette? Also, might have overlooked it, but check the ground on the antenna and also are you driving near any large power lines or buildings that could cut out or disrupt the signal.
