morgan
I own a 97 sts with a BOSE system. I’m really disappointed in the lack of power it has. Specifically, the speakers distort/clip out (the rear ones) if there is a song playing that has some base to it. I’m not sure if the speakers should be replaced because they are worn out or if new ones would do the same. I’ve heard the Bose system in the 98 sts and it blows my 97 out of the water. Anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem the most economical way.
MAC
I would first see if there is a loose or broken connection or maybe a speaker needs to be replaced. The Bose speaker system is excellent.
Cadillac Jim
My Bose system in my 1997 ETC is great. I don't have any rear doors, though. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
