ROCKnROLL
My wife watched a program the other night and they were saying if you got kidnapped and put in the trunk that there is a release cable behind the carpet inside the trunk that will allow you to pop open the trunk for a chance to escape. Anyone know where exactly it's located? Thanks

pushinthelac
The safety release for the 95 SLS is on the right side. Its a sort of black little cord, if you look for it you cannot miss it....

What you are describing is the backup release for the fuel filler door in case the solenoid fails. It won't open the trunk. Bentham
Thank God for that release.. When it is extremely cold and freezing weather I have to go in the back and yank on it. -Eric Eric 93 Cad Seville 100K 95 Chev Blazer 143K [garaged summers]
