Astrak
I was just wondering if you can switch the power seat modules from the passenger side the driver side?
Bruce Nunnally
I would guess you can, the computer does not know where the modules are located. Bruce 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube

Astrak
Ok, now my question is how do you even get the power seats out of a Cadillac Eldorado? I can only find two bolts in the backand none in the front.

Bruce Nunnally
The seat rails have 2 bolts in the back, but a tabbed foot in the front facing forward. So you move the seat all the way forward to undo the bolts in the back, then all the way back on the rail to allow room for them to tilt forward enough (with the rail) to pulled the tabbed foot out of the slot in the floorboard. Service manual version: 1. shoulder belt webbing from seatback. 2. operate seat to full-forward position. 3. on eight way seat, also operate seat almost to the full up position 4. adjuster to floor pan rear attaching bolts. 5. tilt seat forward and disconnect electrical. 6. with aid of helper, pull seat rearward and disengage from front retaining hooks.
