thu
Sorry to hear some juvenile decided to key your car. People like that are pretty low, trailer-trash in my mind. I just don't understand (other than jealousy) why they do that. As for the air bags, are you referring to the Supplemental Crash Restraint or the suspension? In either case, what do you have in mind for updating it? 2003 Seville STS 43k miles with the Bose Sound, Navigation System, HID Headlamps, and MagneRide 1993 DeVille. Looks great inside and out! 298k miles!

BodybyFisher
Your STS does not have air bags for the rear suspension like the Lincoln. It has active air shocks. Why do you want to change your rear suspension? You can replace those active air shocks with OEM or aftermarket. If your air compressor is not working you can replace it, or repair it, they sometimes need a new head. I have recently replaced the rear springs, struts and air tubing on my 96 Deville. What is wrong with yours? You could if you wanted to, eliminate the compressor and direct fill them via a schrader valve. BodybyFisher
Consider lowering it with Eibach springs: http://eibach.com/cgi-bin/htmlos.exe/07251...224188900018564 Some here have done so, look at Bob D's car and explanation here: http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?sho...8&hl=eibach Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
