The Fred
It use to work fine.. now it won't move at all. The recline button works real fine and will move the seat back without problems but the controls in the door don't do anything any more.. I tried swapping the switches and the drivers door switch works on the passenger seat so I know the switch is good, The service manual doesn't say much on this which is surprising to me over here. I looked for and found a fuse for seats but it is fine, with it out the seat back doesn't move If I am going to sell this car to some joker I ought to have the seat fixed since it is stuck in "Short Handsome Fred position" and normal people can't get in and drive the car At least if some fool tried to steal it - he would end up with some awful leg and back aches. BodybyFisher
Handsome Fred, there are tiny motors in the seat frame that die. I would check that you are getting power to the motor. If you are, buy a motor from the junk yard and you will be good to go..
