KenD
Okay, got the water pump off. Let me tell you, I don't know how you guys who have done it without the tool (thanks Bruce!) get that sucker off. I reefed on it and I'm not a small guy and it still gave me a little grief. What you should have done is told me how much antifreeze still leaks out when you think you have it drained, lol. Anyways, I was looking at the housing and noticed the thin gasket. Should I replace it even though it doesn't look too bad. Also, it keeps popping out when I put the housing back on. And the o-ring on the water pump is moving around too. Any type of handy goop that will make it stay without 'sealing' the gasket to the parts? Ranger
I think the guru once said vasaline would hold it in place during reassembly.
