audioguy99
I just replaced the blower motor on my 95 SLS - 193K and counting! - but it seemed like I was getting a burning smell from under the hood (not inside) last night when I got home. I took the old one off and put the new one on with the little heat shield thing over it and it seems to work fine. I searched the archives for a diagram to make sure I did it right (although it doesn't seem to be rocket science) but couldn't find anything. Is there anything I could have messed up or should check...or am I just paranoid?? I know the car does burn oil, but it seemed like a different smell. The last thing I want is for the car to burst into flames!! Thanks for any advice/help! Jonathan[attachmentid=2448]
Ranger
I think you are paranoid. It's not going to burst into flames and there is not much to screw up. Pretty straight forward job.
epricedright
The wire connectors only go together one way, so there's no way to cross the wires. I'd still carry a fire extinquisher with you though...just in case.
