I have it unplugged because it's blown, and have another cheapy 12" sub to put in to hold me over. How do I remove the grille and sub without breaking it? Thanks in advance. Dadillac Posted April 8, 2006 Report Share Posted April 8, 2006 On my '02 Seville, the upper trunk carpet had to come down. The grille has tabs at the four corners, that go through the shelf, and are bent under. Bend the tabs straight, and from inside the car, pull the grille off. Then there were four push type retainers.
