pjprokop
Can't get the windshield washers on my 76 Eldorado to work. Replaced the washer motor with a remanufactured unit. Reservoir is full and lines are clear. When I push the washer button, the washer fluid light comes on and no fluid comes out of the nozzles. Wipers work fine. Any ideas? Ranger
Those old washers had a diaphram that was replacable. It was a simple kit but I don't know if they even make them anymore. Your really taxing my memory here, but I believe it was a small plastic housing on the pump. It had a fluid line in & out. Screws on 4 corners removed the top to access the diaphram. pjprokop
OK, found the real problem by jumping the connector to the washer fluid bottle. Apparently the fluid level detecting system is kaput. Any idea where to get one of these float/etectrical detector systems?
