JasonA Posted March 8, 2004 Report Share Posted March 8, 2004 There have been two oil viscosities recommended for the Northstar from the factory. If you have a 1993-1999 model year car, use 10W-30 oil. If you have a 2000 or later car, use 5W-30 oil. No need to use any other weight besides what is specified.
