stswulf
My 1996 STS just recently started having issues on the start up. It will chug for a few seconds before the engine starts, and on cold stars some times you have to give it some gas before it goes. She runs fine after that. Any suggestions She a little over due for an oil change could that be it?
Ranger
No, need for an oil change will not cause any problems. See if there are any DTC's stored first. You may be due for plugs and wires more than an oil change. Was the fuel rail recal recently done?
