JasonA Posted February 27, 2004 Report Share Posted February 27, 2004 Hey guys: I finally got around to making a page with pictures and part numbers relating to the 12-disc changer that was available in the mid and late 1990s in our cars. Some of you may recall that on my particular car, I had to have the radio power ON before the changer would read any of the CDs. If I inserted the cartridge with the power off, it'd just sit there and not read them. That changed today for some reason. I unplugged the changer to remove it for the installation pictures and after I plugged it back in (with the KEY OFF), I put the cartridge back in just for grins and it started reading it. I don't know what the problem was, but it's gone now... For those that are contemplating the install of one of these changers, photos and part numbers are available at the link above.
