NOBODY got hurt...

I actually thaught it was a small dent by the way it felt.

I kinda knew it wasn't when all I could see was the hood emblem in the windshield.

I'll tell you one thing....any other car other than a caddy, there would of been some injury for sure. The deer was thrown 120 yards from the point of impact!

The cop asked me if I was speeding...... ....I repied with just as stupid of an answer...."No not me, the deer ran that far after I hit her!" She actually believed me, and said "Ya they tend to do that cause of shock." Then she asked me if it was still alive, and if she needed to go shoot it!:huh:

I could not believe this was one of our officers of the law

The deer was thrown 180 yards from the point of impact!

180 yards?????,...that's 540 feet!!!!!

Are Canadian yards different from 'merican' yards?

You need a sign on that that stretch of Highway that reads:

CAUTION: BEWARE OF AIRBOURNE DEER

or

FLYING DEER, NEXT 3 KILOMETERS

Sorry it was 120 yards, I made a typo error.

All she did was roll and roll and roll after I hit her.

I was amazed myself, cause it took us over an hour to find her....Our yard are the same, yes it was far.....the impact turned her into total jello, could not find an unbroken bone in her.

Where she finally laid to rest she was less than a foot and a half thick. It was something to see, but would pass on ever doing it again!

Just be glad that no one was hurt, other than the deer. (& you Caddy). I looks like the passenger A/B took out the windscreen. (Windshield to us Southerners) :P

sixty feet from where i hit a deer, same kinda car, hmmmmmm i think maybe these deer dont like us. I think we both need to go get a deer tag this hunting season.

Maybe they were related to each other, in any case the deer gene pool in this area is a little shallower. :D

Lucky it wasn't a moose... The results would have been a lot worse!...

Last time I was on the open road I had mine up to 189 km (a little less than 120MPH) in an attempt to "see what she'll do".

I reallized this wasn't a good idea after I passed a deer family of a young buck and two does...

At that speed I don't think I would be here if it was a moose!

Thank God for that!
