johnnydone
at stop sign brakes seem to release and quickly reapply in the past and on other cars this is usually a sign of a master cyl starting to go brakes do not pump up stops great but some times pedal feels low any comments thanks
jhall
jonnydone, Check the master cylinder this way: Turn off the car and push the brake pedal a few times to bleed the vacuum from the brake booster; The pedal force should get harder as the vacuum bleeds out Once the brake pedal feels firm with no vacuum assist, press the pedal towad the floor and hold it. If the cylinder is bad, the brake pedal should continue creeping toward the floor. Good luck
CaddyJohn
I know the feeling...new pads, good rotors...but I didn't feel, in traffic, that the car would stop if I needed it to...dealer did the master cylinder, bled brakes...feels good and like new..
