JasonA Posted June 14, 2005 Report Share Posted June 14, 2005 My wife was following me the other day in the Cadillac and noticed that brake lights were acting weird. The running lights were on, but when I applied the brakes, sometimes the lights would get dimmer rather than get brighter. I immediately suspected bad sockets...only the first occurance on this car. I pulled up Caddyinfo.com, and opened the trusty search tool. I came upon this thread... http://caddyinfo.ipbhost.com/index.php?showtopic=3794 ...printed it out, and took it to my Cadillac dealer. They had three sockets in stock of the given part number (it's still valid), and I purchased two. $18.xx each currently. I fixed it up today and all's well again.
