Vince P
1994 SLS Antifreeze Change I went to several stores today, trying to buy the standard Green Antifreeze. No one seems to carry it. Everyone carries new products that state WORKS WILL ALL TYPES/COLORS OF ANTIFREEZE. Does this product really work on all color/types of antifreeze? Should I be concernted? Has anyone used this product? Vince P
JasonA
As I understand it, you can't get "worse" than the standard green antifreeze, as far as silicates go. As long as the coolant is ethylene glycol-based, and as long as you use it in the proper concentration, I wouldn't expect any problems with any of the anitfreezes out there. Just remember to change it every few years or 24-36k miles. Jason(2001 STS, White Diamond) "When you turn your car on...does it return the favor?"
