TDK Posted April 18, 2005 Report Share Posted April 18, 2005 Took the BRD on a quick trip of about 900 miles with nothing fancy for prep etc. Comments: Got there and back with no fuss and at 21.5 average mileage. Not too bad for sustained 81.5 AVERAGE mph per the DIC for the 850 miles of highway with numerous jaunts into the "triples" as required to flash-pass on two-lane roads. The new struts (Boston Suspension w/no errors ever) on the front are quieter and the overall handling seems crisper. Compliments: A sales guy was loading a new hepa vac for "she who must be obeyed" (nothing but the best for her housecleaning huh ) and he just had to say how much he liked this model of Caddy. He was also impressed that the vac could tuck into the nether reaches of the trunk [mafioso certified] with room to spare for her loot from other shopping forays. Another young guy with his friends asked if we would swap the Caddy for his Ranger pickup. "She who must be obeyed" said "No way guy - I love this Caddy too much". And of course, the weiner dogs loll about on the leather seats in a dreamy daze - like it was their personal coach and driver (which is not far from the truth) <_< Just typical stuff to share.
