jmsts
hello everyone it has been a while since my last post . work has been extremely busy as well as home life. i finally got around to removing rear brake rotors after work today & what a struggle it turned out to be. i had to beat the wrench (18mm) with a hammer to break the bolts loose that hold the rear caliper bracket to the hub assembly. after that struggle & with the brackets removed the rest of the job went very well. the rotors were pitted on the back side. i had them resurfaced for 21$ . i reinstalled them & went for a short ride, what a difference. tomorrow the sts will be washed & detailed after a rough winter. have a good weekend everyone. jmsts. Ranger
I had the same problem 2 years ago. I had to replace my rotors. Never could understand how they can get so pitted on wear surface.
