556393 Posted February 19, 2004 Report Share Posted February 19, 2004 I JUST BOUGHT 98 ELDORADO ETC AND THE FOG LIGHTS WON`T COME ON. FUSE IN THE MOTOR COMPARTMENT IS GOOD, THE FOG LIGHT SWITCH ON THE DASH LIGHTS UP TO SAY THE SYSTEM IS WORKING BUTT, NO LIGHTS. RAN A TEST LIGHT TO THE CONNECTOR AT THE BULB, NO POWER. ANY IDEAS? 98Concours Posted February 19, 2004 Report Share Posted February 19, 2004 The low beam headlights have to be on for the fog lights to work. There's a fog lamp relay in the underhood relay center. You can connect a fused jumper between fog lamp relay connector terminal D6(ORN) and terminal C4(PPL). If the fog lamps turn on, then you need to replace the relay.
