RalPh
It's freezing here in the North East, so I know something's wrong But it's effecting my "AUTO" climate control and keeps trying to turn on the AC! So, first I guess I'm going to look for the sensor (supposed to be somewhere in front of the radiator). Second, I'm hoping it's as simple as a sensor. Or maybe the connection has just become corroded with all the salt that's now on the road. Anybody had any experience with this troube? It's just in the past couple of weeks (along with the sub zero temps )
JasonA
Yes, check the sensor or connection. It's just behind the front grille, and looks like a pen cap on my car. Whenever I get water in the sensor during a car wash, it'll report an ambient temperature of at least 20*F colder than it really is. Perhaps your connection or sensor is malfunctioning. I believe you can remove the black beauty panel under the hood and access it that way. Good luck! Jason(2001 STS, White Diamond) "When you turn your car on...does it return the favor?"
