jimbo1972 Posted February 27, 2005 Report Share Posted February 27, 2005 Hello, I just got a 2000 Seville STS that has the Bose Touch screen radio, Navigation and a 6 disk cd player. When i got the car i new it had a radio problem but i dont know what it is, all i get is static and crackling and god awful noise comeing from the speakers. it does it with the radio on, or cd player on. Hud Posted February 28, 2005 Report Share Posted February 28, 2005 Jim, I had what sounds like the same problem you are having. The dealer replace the amp. and it works great now. There was nothing but loud static and crackling on AM/FM/and CD. I talked to the tech. while I was there and he said the amp. on the newer Cadillacs have a high failure rate.
