maremrak Posted January 14, 2005 Report Share Posted January 14, 2005 I am ready to replace my Fuel Pressure Regulator, but I realized that I have been driving the car for some time now with the FPR that leaks fuel. I probably put around 3,000 miles driving like this. Is there a possibility that I damaged something inside the engine? No codes so far. Ranger Posted January 14, 2005 Report Share Posted January 14, 2005 You were just running a little rich. If anything, pull the plugs and clean them but probably not neccassary if it is running good. DustyS Posted January 15, 2005 Report Share Posted January 15, 2005 A friend had a FPR go bad in a NS, and the dealer said it diluted the oil with gas, therefor thinning it a lot causing it to knock.
