chriskoc1
Well I changed my rear bulb sockets today and found a nice present after I looked in the middle rear lights that are on the trunk. I think I have a condensation problem...
chriskoc1
The image quality is bad so what you see is a broken bulb with rust all inside of it. I think I will try to seal the inside of the light assembly with silicone.
FlamingGoatBalls
Same prob here. Mine got so bad I had to shove a paper clip in it to get ground....still need to replace the socket. How much was it anyway?
chriskoc1
How much was it anyway? It was very cheap. I bought five from gmpartsdirect.com, about $50, from the advice from people from this board. I had previously bought a single one from a local dealer to see if it improved my turn signal problem in which it did.

FlamingGoatBalls
Just for suture refrence...you didnt need to cut the wire to the socket. The wires come out with the proper tool.
chriskoc1
It is a common problem for condensation so I hope newer assemblies corrected this
FlamingGoatBalls
I think I read somewhere that they used one too many screws somewhere in that area and it stresses the plastic lamp cover and it cracks. Bunch of aweful jackasses
