ByStorm
Men and women of caddyino. I have a friend (2000 SLS with 35k) that went in for some piston service at our local Cadillac dealer . He was concered with the constant ticking sound with his vehicle. While checking the work out the dealershipl said that one motor mount was busted (my friend said it wasn't) and the warranty didn't cover motor mount work but, they offered him either the piston work to be done or an 50k miles addition to his warrenty. They offered the 50k miles extra to his warranty because they said the ticking sound will always be there. Any thoughts.... Any constructive replys will help us think this situation through and respond to the dealership accordingly Thanks. ByStorm
ByStorm
That is what I suggested. Take the extra 50k and get the piston work done next week or so. I will have him do a WOT and see where that goes. Thanks.... ByStorm
