danbuc Posted December 9, 2004 Report Share Posted December 9, 2004 Not only is the programming different, but the 1996 and up engines have a Mass Air Flow sensor and your engine does not. The engine itsself is also quite different. I'm wondering why you would even want to swap out an OBDI computer for an OBDII. You can't do anything with an OBDII computer.
