I got the door panel off (that was fun!), and my motor has a belt or "tape" that is perforated. It rotates forwards and backwards but it is not attached to anything. Using a mirror I can see what looks like the black portion of a regulator guide clip at the top of the rear channel (of the regulator?). I don't see anywhere else for the belt to attach to. It has to anchor to at least two spots to move the window doesn't it? Does anybody have a diagram or picture of the inside of the 88 Deville door showing the window movement components?
