tulmkr
2002 seville sts. Water pump seesm to be bad, and in need of replacement. From what I have been able to find, the fix seems pretty straight forward. Remove air cleaner assembly, remove belt, drain coolant, remove hoses, remove cover, put the special tool on, and turn abot 30* to pull the impeller out. Clean everything, replace seal, new cover gasket, and put it all back together. Now forgive me but nothing is ever that easy. What can I expect to go wrong here? Will something be in my way? Are there 10 other things that need to be removed in order to access the pump? I guess im looking to know if there are any bumps in the road, and what I can do to avoid them. Any help is appreciated...Thanks a ton.
