cdictas
Hi Guys, Has anyone successfully removed the power steering pulley? My pump is whining and I bought a aftermarket pump (fenco) from autozone for $84.00. However, it doesn't come with the pulley. I tried using a 3 jaw puller but I was afraid of breaking the plastic pulley. I know kent-moore offers the specially designed puller for this application J38825, but I'd like to do it without buying the speciality tool. Any thoughts, anyone. Thanks, Chuck

growe3
I would suggest just buying the tool. It can remove several sizes and will also remove the water pump pulley if ever necessary. It doesn't cost that much and is a nice addition to a tool set. Attached is the one that I bought. It work great, won't damage the pulley and is very simple to use. -George Drive'em like you own 'em. - ....................04 DTS............................
