Poobah
'95 and later Eldorado grills appear to consist of a plated plastic grill which fits into a body colored surround which, in turn, mounts to the hood. From looking at photos and at the cars themselves (with the hood closed), it appears that this grill/surround assembly would bolt right onto a '94 hood. Is this correct or did Cadillac make minor changes to the hood, headlights, and/or the bumper when they redesigned the grill? I'm toying with the idea of updating the front of my '94 Eldo if it is simply a matter of changing parts. Thanks in advance, Happiness is owning a Cadillac with no codes. Poobah
For what it's worth: While buying some parts at Cadillac King Auto dismantlers in Sun Valley, CA, I asked Eric about swapping grills. He said he's tried it and the late grill and surround won't fit the earlier hood. Happiness is owning a Cadillac with no codes.
