Update on Rear Creaking.... Solved!

The rear knuckle was indeed the problem. Both upper and lower bushings were toast which would explain the periodic shifting of the stabilizer bar and allowing it to contact the lower shock housing. I'm still amazed that the tire wore evenly. The creaking sound was getting to be unbearable.... but she's all quiet now. Hopefully some of you will find this info useful in another 100k miles. :P
