Cupillac
Well heres a question. When I turn my traction control off, and say I do a quarter mile strip, my car doesn't accelerate at all, I mean a Geo Metro would kill me. Turn the traction control on, and sure enough the Northstar shines through? Any thoughts, or is this normal? Ranger
Yep, it's normal. When you disengage traction control PCM reverts to 2ng gear starts, hence loosing to a Geo. Leave traction engaged unless you get stuck in the snow.

Dyver
Larry is correct. Turning traction control off, causes the car to launch from 2nd gear. You will still beat any Geo, however! Ha! Ha!
