Desicion on hand

Recommended Posts

Well I was looking through the local newspaper and there is a gentleman selling a 1996 STS black on black 116,000 km for $15,000 cdn.

Same car as mine except I have 152,000 km.

I'm having thoughts about getting rid of mine and purchasing this one, but I feel like I've bonded to my baby and I've put new exhaust on mine and other goodies.

What is a young man to do?

Sounds like too much money to me. I saw a 2000 with about 100k for only $11k recently.

Have you tried talking the owner down to about $10K?? Might be worth it at that price instead.

If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

What is that, about $11K US? Seems way high. My 96 is in great shape with 111K miles but is only worth about $7K here. They really drop in value after 100,000 miles and are actually a steal at what they are bringing here.
