shanedaddyindacaddy Posted February 3, 2004 Report Share Posted February 3, 2004 I have a 94 eldorado and i just had the fuel pump and fuel filter replaced 5 days ago. since then i had to drive from san diego to mississippi. the drive over the car was fine but the service engine light was on. when i got to mississippi and began driving at city speed the car started giving me trouble. the main problems come in the morning when i am going to work. on the way to work the car will die and i cannot start it in neutral, i have to pull to the side of the road to start it in park. the car will continue to have this problem until the check engine light comes on. then after that the only problem i have is a rough idle. also the car has great acceleration, no problems at all. what could be the problem?
