JLAWS
I have a 98 STS, has anyone tried the mentioned tire size? I'm pretty sure If I did a full turn it would rub alittle, I don't mind though. The recommended 235/50/18 seems to skinny. I'm mainly concerned about comfort. I need to know if the tire wall is the same thickness. If they are then I'll go for the extra width also. Ben
See this link for tire size comparason:Tire Size As a side note, on my 95 Concours, I have the same tire size and they do rub a little bit, but only under extreme turning. Normal driving they don't rub at all.

vansterdam
Here's a better tire calculator that lets you compare up to 5 sizes at once.
JasonA
...I'm mainly concerned about comfort... I'd try a 17 then. You'll really notice a difference (in harshness and stiffness) with larger wheels. The weight of those big wheels will also degrade ride quality and braking.
