Wildcard
Hello every one. im a new member. I just bought a 2000 Deville DHS. Should i use something like armor all or something like it on my dash board? I have seen a number of caddies with the dash pad/board drawn up around the edges and would like to prevent this. mine is already drawn up in a small place on the drivers side near the edge of the wind shield. By drawn up i mean the foam or vinyl or what ever its made from is flipped up at the edge.My 2005 monte carlo has done this as well. i am not worried about makeing it nice and shiny ect but in preserving it. Ranger
The only thing that can help that is a sun screen in the windshield. Nothing in a bottle will do it.
Wildcard
yea, i def use a sunscreen, and a car coverwhen its at home.would the armor all keep it mostiorized though? or is it best to just wipe it down with a damp cloth to clean it?And thank you for the response
Ranger
I quit using armorall. I think it is just floor wax. The dash cover is vinyl so nothing is going to penetrate and "moisturize" it. Damp cloth should do it.
