Do you think that the latch is fully engaged? Can you open the bonnet without pulling the handle inside the car? Your latch or cable might just need a little grease. Otherwise, talk to a body shop. It's probably something slightly out of alignment. There are also some bump stops that have to help maintain the tension against the bonnet latch.
