winterset Posted June 9, 2009 Report Share Posted June 9, 2009 so you disconnected the 2 onstar componants in the trunk? - this should not stop the radio from working. you mentioned a battery drain? - you might want to completely disconnect the battery (Ground first), inspect & clean the contacts, then connect it again (red first). sometimed the radio needs a 'reboot' to work again. also, check underhood fuseblock. seems spider webs, dirt, & corrosion can cause all sorts of issues on your electrical system.
