mcrete Posted May 12, 2009 Report Share Posted May 12, 2009 So i recently got a 1992 SeVille which I love. I am planning to do a lot of work on it. I have two questions 1. My trunk will not completely close. It will latch shut but will not completely close down. I was told it has to do with a vacuum pump not working? Any help would be most appreciated. 2. I really would like to do some work under the hood and spruce it up. I am having a hard time finding any one that makes after market parts for my Cadi. Anyone know a good place to go? I am in so cal. Ranger Posted May 13, 2009 Report Share Posted May 13, 2009 Vacuum has nothing to do with the trunk pull down. It's an electric motor. Might be the switch or the motor itself. Try cleaning the switch contacts first. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
