SPreston2001 Posted October 31, 2008 Report Share Posted October 31, 2008 Hello fellow Cadillac owners, I was wondering if the 98-02 STS's all came equipped with the necessary hook ups for a factory navigation system. I would like to have the newer nav system Cadillac went to in 03, but I think that requires alot more modification than the factory option that came with my year. I found a scrap yard with one and I just wanted to know if I would be able to take out my Bose headunit and install the nav system with little effort? Anybody know what all is involved in a Nav install? Are the harnesses the same or is there some other needed hardware and stuff I will need besides the screen to get it to work? Thanks in advance. Sounds like installing a nav system in a non factory equipped car is more hassle than its worth. Sure woulda been nice if it was as easy as it seems.
