cadillacjohn69 Posted May 11, 2008 Report Share Posted May 11, 2008 1989 deville the original starter went bad so i purchased a remanufactured one from autozone $69.99 put it on and car started with no problem drove it about 12 miles turned it off tried to start it about 15mins later and the starter drags but started got home turned car off started it again the started drags then nothing was told by local mechanic that you must buy oem ac delco starter from dealer bought it very expensive put it on same problem .
