daniel812
I keep blowing the 15 amp fues for my left rear parking lights on my 98 Seville. The fuse blew about 5 months ago and has been fine until this week. it now blows everytime I replace it when I turn on my lights. I am looking for advice. Also, this might have NO connection at all, but I sent in my radio (bose) to get repaired and the fuse started blowing right after that. Is there a connection? I do not have the radio back yet to check
Caddynut
you have a definate short to ground. Trace your hot wire from the light up to the front of the car. Somewhere in the line, there is a bare spot. I would try near the light first. That is where the wires usually corrode and wear. 2008 BMW 328xi 2007 Chrysler Aspen 2001 Cadillac Seville STS 2000 Ford Ranger XLT1998 Mitsubishi Spyder Convertible 1996 Saturn SC-11991 Ford F-1501979 Chevrolet Caprice1968 Ford LTD1965 VW Beetle "Herbie The Love Bug Replica** 1961 VW Beetle

That fuse protects the circuitry for three bulbs on the rear and one bulb on the front. Pull the bulbs and see if you can narrow the problem down to front or rear. Jim Drive your car. daniel812
I think its coming from the rear. The rear lenses get moisture in them after it rains and I dont know if this is the problem. I'll check my wiring for short to ground. thanks for ideas
WarrenJ
Maybe this might be helpful. Regards, Warren P.S. As a wild guess, I'm thinking you're looking for a pinched wire. Check out the LH tail lamp resistor and vicinity. Just a guess. There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. daniel812
thanks for the help. I had a pinched wire shorting out the left side light and blowing fuses. It was in the trunk panel itself, not the side lights. thanks
