Downeaster Posted September 30, 2007 Report Share Posted September 30, 2007 I Recently had to have my a/c compressor replaced in my 1997 Seville, SLS. The local garage could not recharge the system. I believe before they can recharge I must clear the codes so that the compressor will receive a signal to run. I have found that to enter the system and receive the codes we have to press the Off button, simultaneously with the top end of the passenger rocker switch. The system displays the codes and then stops on PCM?. This is where I am stumped. how do I clear the codes, and proceed on. We have read through all the other information over the codes, but this was the only portion that pertained to our vehicle. Any response is appreciated. Ranger Posted September 30, 2007 Report Share Posted September 30, 2007 In the diagnostic mode HIGH FAN = NO and LOW FAN = YES. After the prompt (PCM?) answer NO.
