msilva954 Posted April 15, 2004 Report Share Posted April 15, 2004 Ive seen this on other caddy 4.9's too and I was just wondering what some have done to the painted area of the valve covers. Could I just remove all the paint then repaint it all silver again then paint the letters red by hand?? I know id have to do alot of taping of the area around the engine but I really dont like how it looks with a big chip in the middle. Ranger Posted April 15, 2004 Report Share Posted April 15, 2004 If you try to just repaint the chipped area it will probably be pretty hard to get a good color match.
