Jason15036
I just have a quick question. Does anyone know where the traction control/abs computer is located on 1998 Cadillac Seville STS. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You, Jason
nigel
the EBCM is fixed to the back of the ABS Pump with 6 torx screws. it's tucked away to the left front of the engine compartment on the frame rail, kinda down under the airbox. easiest way to get at it is to remove the front left wheel and the plastic lower arch insert. from that position you can easily undo the wiring connector and unscrew the computer module. Jason15036
Thanks for the quick reply. Appreciate it. What do you think something like that is worth in good used condition. Thank You, Jason
nigel
personally i wouldn't buy a used item as you never can tell how long it will last and some wrecking yards know how much the new parts cost and charge almost as much. there are quite a few companies that may repair your own module or you can buy a new one. this is a safety critical part, i'd buy new.
