Astrak
I have bluemagic metal polish that I use on the chrome trim around my Caddy, is it worth restoring the chrome to the tailpipes and also would it be safe to use a wire brush to get some of the heavier black junk off. JohnnyG
That depends on their present condition, though I wouldn't recommend a wire brush, nor Scotchbrite Pads. Never underestimate the amount of a persons greed.

Astrak
They are fairly tarnished, it is hard to see any chrome. I used a little bluemagic to see what it would do and the first coating took most of the tarnish off and the second pretty much shined it up.
