trey181818
I have a 1996 STS; my keyless entry quit working. Diagnostic response is "No RFA Data". Any quick suggestions on my next steps?
Cadillac Jim
Check the plug from the harness to the RFA. It's in the rear the trunk latch. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. donburns
I have a 2000 STS and it had the same message after my battery when dead, due to use of energy with engine not running. These computers like power above 9 volts at all times. If drop below this value, they act weird or don't respond. Did you lose power recently? If so or not, try a hard reboot. Disconnect negative battery cable for atleast a minute. Check cables at battery for corrosion, while at it. Please report back your findings. I will check that; I lost the keyless entry when the trunk was full; maybe a plug got disconnected.
